At this
Wikipedia article we learn that the actual name of the party is 新黨 (Xīn Dăng, the pinyin
spelling of the Mandarin Chinese name), meaning exactly "New Party", and
formerly Chinese New Party. It is a
minor 'pan-blue' party (as mentioned also in the messages mentioned above)
founded in 1993 from a K.M.T. split.
Its logo shows the the party name in a casual script style in dark blue on
a yellow ellipse with its axis slanted SW-NE, the party color is yellow.
The party flag with yellow with the same dark blue inscription as the
logo, as shown an animation at
the official party website, which shows party flag waved by a crowd along
with national RoC flags, assorted party banners, and one
Chang-hua County flag.
